Devlog #47 - TaxSystem/FinanceSystem ,Update-FIx -LoanFixes-- TruckSystem Update - Upgrade/BuyNEwTruck - Costs Prices introduced / OfficeSystem CreateNewOffice, upgrade office - other Fixes

Image
****TaxSystem/FinanceSystem update, added new variables "nonTaxable and LoanRepayment" -TruckSystem addedUpgrade System - BuyNew Truck-  -OfficeSystem, upgradeOffice, Construct new office - code refactoring -  other fixes ***** TaxSystem/FinanceSystem: PROBLEM 1 :   The loan repayments and not c alculated in the expense. And I KNOW we fixed that and changed i to this, but the issue here is that the netProfit now shows for example -200$, but the actuall deduct amount is -1200, because 1000$ is debt repayment per day. So yeah, very confusing, and if we add that to the expense like before : So here, it was working well, because we avoided the problem of taxing the loan as well as loan repayment reducing the taxes . So it was all good haha, but now issue again. We have to cound it but we cannot tax it, one way or another, and because of the structure , the Banktick happens way before any market changes, but the tax tick is at the end of the turn to calculate all event...

Devlog #46 - HubSystem - CreatNewHub added, HubBuild Ui + INdustrySystem Update - -INdustryTierData to be combined with the IndustryData and IndustryState struct -

Image
*****HubSystem added CreateNewHub + code refactoring- added HubBuild UI -  IndustrySystem update, code refactoring and code/base/database upgrade, fixing spaghetti - Code Refactoring***** HubSystem  - Again, yeah i know! But now I added CreateNewHub, and done some code refactoring. Lets dig in! From UI the necessary data now is cityIndex, and type, which as we said is frmo Enum and HubType scriptable object.    So basically same as for upgrade, only this time we are doing something else. Ghost. yes. So i thought how can we apply the same -1 tick for timer for upgrade, now for construction.. Where? How? i didnt have clear idea, but i thought wait, what if we create a hub, but dont show it , so simply add bool isUnderConstruction = true, and if it is, dont show it and cant be used.! (Which reminds me i have to add that same condition for office Workload calculation.....dang)  In essence, we create a hub immediatly, but bool it underConstruction  untill...

DevLog #55 - IndustrySystem refactored and FINALLY DONE !!!! Big milestone! Biggest system finished!!

Image
****** IndustrySystem finished! ****** I will go deep into how it works and how it differs from other systems we had.******  This is it!!! The system I have been building since the start of this game development, now its done!  Of course there were amny issues, sturcture wise, constant refactoring, optimising, and trying to solve the whole puzzle in my mind before i do it in code. Lets get started! : ) First, reminder why it is if not the most complex system in game:   For industry, we have few different databases(scriptable objects ) that interact with each other. For example, officeSystem has a single database of officeTierDatabase , which contains differnt sizes of offices, which , uponupgrade it takes all the other data , like max workers , upgrade cost, efficiency per worker etc.. ( feels like i have talked about this haha), anyhow, the industrySystem   has one industryTierDatabase,  plus it has another database which is industryTypeDatabase, ...
